Travelguide: My Three Weeks in Southern Thailand

It's now been nearly five months since we left the UK. After our time in Sri Lanka (click here for my travelguide) we headed back to Thailand to meet my sister Fiona. Here's a brief summary (check out our couple of seconds a day video on youtube!) of the time we've had there and hopefully [...]

Happy Galentine’s Day petals! What better way to celebrate than by donnin my favourite tee from @everythings_sweet_threads to explore Hue’s Imperial City. #riseup #futureisfemale
The people we’ve met so far in Vietnam have been beyond hospitable. Whether it’s sharing a boiled egg on the train or inviting you into their home for lunch and 20 rice wine shots, the kindness is so touching. Today we hired some sledges to go down sand dunes from this family. After we’d had our fun, they insisted we join them for lunch. A little act of kindness confirming (or restoring) my faith in the human race. Was a top spread too, not a clue what we ate as they couldn’t speak a word of English, but it was pukka! 🇻🇳
Today we leave Hanoi and start our journey down Vietnam. It’s been a pleasure to experience Hanoi during Tet. An absolutely vibrant place with great food and greater people. Next stop Tam Coc! 🚂 🇻🇳
Last week we embarked on a four day trek with @sapaochau Everyone was so welcoming, it’s probably been my favourite experience so far on our trip. Check out my latest post (link in bio) to find out what we did and the benefits of choosing a sustainable tour company like Sapa O’Chau.
Being back in Thailand and spending time with my sister @fionacantwell was amazing! Check out my latest blog post to see what we got up to and some ethical and sustainable travel tips for Phuket, Koh Yao Noi, Koh Lanta and Krabi. 🇹🇭
Today I’m a little bit sad as I leave Thailand after spending on and off nearly 3 months in the wonderful country. But I’m even more sad because once again I have to part ways with my little sister @fionacantwell Bloody hate goodbyes... It’s also an exciting day though as Fi gets to explore Bangkok and me and @bentekerz head to Vietnam. Really looking forward to see what it has in store for us!
